This is a good opportunity to say thanks to BSH for their support of the jazz scene in the North East (and beyond) - it's no exaggeration to say that if it wasn't for them many, many fine musicians, bands and projects across a huge cross section of jazz wouldn't be getting reviewed at all, because we're in the "desolate"(!) Whilst BSH attempts to cover as many gigs, festivals and albums as possible, to make the site even more comprehensive we need more 'boots on the ground' to cover the albums seeking review - a large percentage of which never get heard - report on gigs or just to air your views on anything jazz related. Ronnie Scott's All Stars Performing 'The Sound Of Soho'

We’ve been waiting patiently to reopen but whilst that looks a little while away still we’re delighted to be back live with a new livestream series, starting tonight (Mon 6th July) @ 7:00pm UK time!

We’ll be live and direct from the club with our amazing house band featuring Natalie Williams, James Pearson, Alex Garnett, Sam Burgess and Chris Higginbottom performing 'The Sound Of Soho', songs from the legends whom have performed at the club over the years from Ella, Oscar, Nina and so many more...

The stream will be free to view for all, however please consider a small donation for the musicians performing and production costs, we would be hugely grateful so we can support our community and continue to make more of these. The link to donate will be on the screen during the show.
