The ideal accompaniment to a St. Valentine’s Day Celebration – The Peter Morgan Trio – a new jazz combination to the North East. Bringing a fresh individualistic interpretation to some of the better known standards.
The trio is almost international with Peter Morgan (piano) from Sunderland, Vilda Kuby (bass) from Richmond and Paul Campbell (drums) from the Tyne Valley!
Peter is better know in the area for playing bass trombone in various big bands and directing the Customs House Big Band. Vilda was the bassist with the Dougie Pugh quartet for some twenty years and is well known in many Northern Jazz venues. Paul has been playing in venues across the country and in New York for many years. As CEO of Amazing Radio he does much to promote new musicians and their music. All three members of the trio also have experience of the classical world and seek to bring a fusion into their music making.
They are good friends who invite you to share in their musical conversations – diverse views, new opinions but never losing the essential threads of the discussion.
