Bebop Spoken There

Faye McCalman: "For a while I would hear other artists and feel that I need to be like that person, have what they have; but then I realised that everyone has their own thing and what I connect with most is when I can tell an artist is just being themselves." - (Jazzwise July 2021)

Free Online Singing Event - Singing It Out

Sunday Feb. 28 @ 2:00pm utc – 3:00pm utc

(Press release)

'Singing It Out' provides online singalong sessions to help combat loneliness and improve mental wellbeing through song.

Having been developed with funding from Leeds Inspired, a small grant from Live Well Leeds is enabling you to attend this session FOR FREE!

It was great fun and my mood was dramatically better than it had been before by the end of the session. Singing is definitely a great aid in raising your mood. Great choice of songs too.”

Was a bit daunted about standing up and singing, but this was a lovely safe space and actually was a lot of fun.

Absolutely no singing experience needed; in fact, no one will hear you as you'll be 'on mute.'

Email to register your interest.

Lyrics sheets and Zoom Link will be sent out prior to the session.

If you require additional resources for accessibility (close-captioning, BSL etc.) please let me know ASAP!
