Bebop Spoken There

Clare Teal: "If you're brought up in a working-class family, you haven't got money for records so everything you get hold of, you treasure, learn to love, and I loved those Ella tapes." - (Radio Times 23-29 January 2021)

The Things They Say!

Hudson Music: Lance's "Bebop Spoken Here" is one of the heaviest and most influential jazz blogs in the UK.

Info wanted on Mike Scott (Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated)

I'm looking for any information about my friend's father, Mike Scott. He played both drums and bass for Alexis Korner's Blues Incorporated in the mid 60s.

I saw that someone had luck asking about Malcolm Saul, (who was also in the Alexis Korner band) on your site so thought I'd reach out to ask if you could please make a blog post inquiring for any information.
He's listed on the record as Mike Scott, but also went under Mike Williams (but was born Robert Williams). I've attached the only confirmed photo.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Re; Mike Scott. Henry Lowther knew him. Might be worth your correspondent contacting him.
