Radio 4's commissioned series of short stories 80 Not Out (Monday to Friday this week) includes tomorrow's intriguingly titled episode Demerara Jazz. Jacqueline Crook's story is about a first time, octogenarian theatre director recalling memories of a childhood in Guyana and the jazz musicians she encountered in London.
Jacqueline Crook's Demerara Jazz, read by Yvonne Brewster, can be heard on Radio 4 tomorrow (Thursday) at 10:45am (repeated at 7:45pm).
