No Blues for David.

Congratulations to percussionist David Francis upon being returned as the Green Party councillor for the Beacon and Bents Ward in South Tyneside overturning a large Labour majority to win by almost 1,100 votes - a landslide victory!

Francis is better known to BSH as the drummer with various northeast bands large and small such as the Customs House Big Band and Alter Ego. We hope he will continue to serve the jazz community as well as the residents of his South Tyneside ward.

Well done David.
Lance
