Weather permitting, the Jarrow Gin and Alehouse will be restarting its popular Buskers' Night 0n Thursday - this time outdoors. Probably won't be any jazz but - who knows? On buskers' nights anyone can turn up - maybe even the nearby residents who, hopefully, can blow or pluck something other than picking up the phone.
Tomorrow (August 6) is also a significant day for the pub - it sees the launch of the first issue of a new daily - The Albion Times. The Albion, of course, was the initial name for the pub way back in the 1930s. Eventually, its original name will be incorporated into the pub's present title. Watch this space.
So, if ye Jarra lads and lasses have nowt to do the morra then get yer sells doon Walta Street.
7:30pm - 9:30pm.
