The Jam is back @ Newcastle Arts Centre.

No, Paul Weller isn't likely to turn up at the Jazz Café, situated in the depths of Newcastle Arts Centre (69 Westgate Rd. NE1 1SG), although you never know - that's the beauty of jam sessions there's always a moment of surprise - sometimes pleasant, sometimes not although, in fairness, you have to admire anyone who jumps in at the deep end and doesn't drown.

Tonight's house trio comprises Stuart Collingwood (keys); Paul Grainger (bass); Rob Walker (drums) plus whoever's up for it. In pre-pandemic times the line formed on the right with the grand finale a kickass free for all, no holds barred blues blast. 8:00pm start. Lance
