There's an amazing song Jon Hendricks closes his shows with 'The September of my Years'
The only other one I can think of is Early Autumn.

September in the Rain Dinah Washington takes some beating in my mind!

I think from my own list I'd pick Stan Getz playing 'Tis Autumn or vocal wise George Evans singing the same tune with Geraldo!
What about "Autumn Nocturne" by Joseph Myrow? Lovely tune from the '40's, a bit hard to sing because of the intervals, and not often recorded. There is a beautiful, although hard to find, version by Dorothy Carless with, I think, Enzo Pini's Orch.,. It was on Youtube but seems to have disappeared.
