Whilst BSH attempts to cover as many gigs, festivals and albums as possible, to make the site even more comprehensive we need more 'boots on the ground' to cover the albums seeking review - a large percentage of which never get heard - report on gigs or just to air your views on anything jazz related. Rendezvous Jazz gigs.

Rendezvous Jazz have a couple of gigs next month apart from their regular Friday lunchtime gigs at the Monkseaton Arms:

Saturday Oct. 9: Forest Hall Constitutional Club, 5 Park Drive, Forest Hall NE12 9JN. Admission is free and is a fund-raising event for Blood Cancer - UK. 8:00pm - 10:30pm. Please wear something red.

Saturday Oct. 16: Memorial Hall, Darras Rd., Ponteland NE20 9NX. 7:00pm - 10:00pm. £16 per person. Tickets from Stuart Blair 01661 822367. Ponteland Rotary Club event. Special guest, pianist Ian Wynne.
