Bebop Spoken There

Jeremy Pelt: "I'm so much into melodies and into sound, and the presence of sound, that I don't necessarily want to try to play in between the cracks of a note." - (DownBeat November 2020)

The Things They Say!

Hudson Music: Lance's "Bebop Spoken Here" is one of the heaviest and most influential jazz blogs in the UK.

Rupert Burley (Dynamic Agency): "BSH just goes from strength to strength".

Time to Get Carter

If you've never seen Get Carter (unlikely) then tune to ITV 4 at nine o'clock tonight. Mike Hodges' classic British gangster movie is as noir-ish as you like with a soundtrack by Roy Budd.

Singer Denea Wilde features in one scene - see if you can identify the members of the band.

Michael Caine visits lots of north east of England landmarks meeting some dodgy characters along the way...you know what I mean?

I did play with the lady singer, must have been in the sixties in a club in North Shields. Trio keyboards and drums myself on the bass guitar.
