A gorgeous vignette by the lovely Lindsay who sang about some of the legends of Americana.
We had Casey Jones, Stagger Lee and John Henry. Men who made their names and their living in the frontier towns of the old west. Gamblers, sinners, men working the railroads, fighting, shooting and living hard. Each one firmly engraved in American folklore their stories oft told by itinerant bluesmen and women.
Lindsay sang it as though she'd been there and maybe, living in Newcastle and Northumberland, she near enough had!
Can't wait until next week. Put them all together and maybe one day she'll make an album!
