Bebop Spoken There

Jennifer Wharton: "People forget that the trombone is so glorious. It can be like going to church, or getting ready for battle. It can be a lot of things....For a longtime I was the only female trombonist in New York," - (DownBeat May 2021)

Preview: Snowboy & the Latin Section w. Jen Kearney @ Hoochie Coochie - October 6

54 Pilgrim Street is the place. It's easy to find. East of the sun, west of the moon, south of Northumberland St., north of Gateshead heading into the Toon.
Hoochie Coochie.
Coolest venue in town (sorry, toon) but this Friday (October 6) it will be the hottest!
Snowboy and the ten piece Latin Quarter with, all the way from Boston Mass, vocalist Jen Kearney, are going to give the crowd - and there will be a crowd - a night to remember!
That such a combination are playing Hoochie (maybe Sage Gateshead left it too late) is a feather in Warren's sombrero although, as he's the guy who brought us Gregory Porter, Chaka Khan and innumerable others we shouldn't be surprised.
A fantastic night in store for those who like their music on the Tequila/Bacardi side!
I'm already crying in my London Pride that I can't be there.
