Our man on the ground, Ken Drew, captured some stunning post-concert photos of
Paul Edis and Graeme Wilson at the duo's DJazz performance in Durham Cathedral - see the previous post - now
Malcolm Sinclair has sent us some close-ups from the organ loft of the sacred building.
After the Nords, Rolands and Yammies that Dr. Edis often encounters on gigs the historic instrument, restored and rebuilt over the years by Harrison & Harrison of Durham, must have presented a daunting challenge. Needless to say, by all reports, he came through magnificently the sound blending seamlessly with the tenor saxophone of Wilson.
