How deep is the ocean?: It's a long way - fourteen fathoms deep. To get there would take longer than your average double bass/drum solo although it may not seem so at the time.
How high the moon?: Just short of 400,000 kilometres. Average time is about three days although most tenor players could do it in two.
Have you met Miss Jones?: Who hasn't? That broad's been round the block a few times.
What is this thing called love?: Cole Porter first posed the question but that was before he had access to Wikipedia - LINK.
How about you?: This, in general terms, has nothing to do with New York in June although it's not a bad chat-up line and, depending upon where you are, could be switched to Newcastle (Sunderland) in February (January).
Can't we be friends?: An emphatic no probably followed by tears or a Glasgow kiss or both!
Will you still love me tomorrow?: Only if the taxi doesn't turn up.
Where are you?: The taxi turned up.
What are you doing New Year's Eve?: Ask me next January.
Do you know the way to San José?: No, but I know how to get to Gateshead. Lance
PS: Further suggestions please.
