Our man has been out in Mexico for some time, networking, rehearsing and preparing for a 12,000 capacity gig later this week with some Mexico City friends. Minutes into this Monday evening streamed concert something like seventy five people were on line, some of them, as is their wont, posting comments.
Playing clarinet, singing on most of the numbers, Cox simultaneously interacting with his audience, acknowledging some, reminding others of his very few upcoming dates this year back in Old Blighty, this was Cox in his element.
As Cox sang the lyrics to Where or When he laughed out loud, saying he just realised he was singing the number for the first time! Our man bowed out (2:00pm in Mexico, 8:00pm UK time) with Si Tu Vois Ma Mere. Russell
