This is a good opportunity to say thanks to BSH for their support of the jazz scene in the North East (and beyond) - it's no exaggeration to say that if it wasn't for them many, many fine musicians, bands and projects across a huge cross section of jazz wouldn't be getting reviewed at all, because we're in the "desolate"(!) Ken Drew - 100 today (not years!)

Earlier today, I added a collage, by Ken Drew, to Russell's review of the Joni Mitchell tribute on KSTV.

This was a very special collage as it was the one hundredth screenshot collage that Ken has provided since lockdown began. We're both grateful and privileged to have such a sharp-shooter as part of the BSH team.

However, apart from his innovative collages Ken has, over the years, also provided us with a host of stunning images for which we're always happy to be able to share.
