Don't get me wrong, this isn't a dig at Leeds, Cheltenham, EFG or, come to that, JazzFM or any of the organisations trying to promote music festivals whilst, at the same time, attempting to conform to the ever moving goalposts caused by Covid.
I appreciate the need - the desperate need - to draw in a wider, more cross genre, audience but I still can't get my head around advertising a jazz festival as having an eclectic mix of jazz, funk, and world music. Why not just advertise it as "a festival of jazz, funk, and world music"?

Very good - maybe just put Jazz in quotation marks, with a ?? ........ at least mine makes it clear, calling it a Classic Jazz Party!!
