Bebop Spoken There
Immanuel Wilkins: "I'm against the notion of telling a story through lyrics. Dialogue or language can take away from the musical meaning. Words can do a disservice." - (The Hot House Jazz Guide January 19, 2021)

The Things They Say!
Hudson Music: Lance's "Bebop Spoken Here" is one of the heaviest and most influential jazz blogs in the UK.
Rupert Burley (Dynamic Agency): "BSH just goes from strength to strength".

Preview: Born in Chicago - Sky Arts, Sunday (Oct 11)
Now that Sky Arts is available on Freeview it's worth checking the listings to see what's on. A case in point is Born in Chicago which is being screened on Sunday at 9:00pm. Directed by John Anderson, this 2013 documentary looks at a host of now famous names such as Mike Bloomfield, Paul Butterfield and Charlie Musselwhite who went in search of the Chicago blues greats - Muddy Waters, Hubert Sumlin et al. It should be well worth watching.

the film was directed by John Anderson and Bob Sarles, who also edited the film
This is actually a entirely new film. The 2013 version was a very early edit.
