Keith Jarrett, it seems has had two strokes over the past couple of years and it looks as though his performing days are over.

An immensely sad end to the 60 year career of a musical titan, both player and composer.
I first registered his genius, as so many have, on ECM's epochal Koln Concert. But in the intervening years I've come to realise his solo concerts were just one of several genres which he invented and defined.
My favourites his heart achingly beautiful European quartet's My Song with Garbarek, and his prolific Standards Trio (pick any of many, but Whisper Not up there).
Some find his mannerisms and manners tough to take, but after recently reading Ian Carr's 1992 biography I'm convinced he is a genuine and complex genius. We mortals can only be grateful he has left such a legacy of beautiful and emotional music.
