These are my top ten UK CDs and I could easily have found many more. The standard this year has been absolutely amazing and, taking into acccount the relative populations of the UK and the USA who is not to say that, like climate change, jazz's polarity is also changing?
Certainly, in my early years of jazz listening we had many great players such as Tubbs, Ronnie, Kenny Baker, Don Rendell, Eddie Thompson and others. Apart from the above, few could cut it Stateside whereas now, there are guys in just about every major UK city who can throw their hat into the ring with confidence - not least the bands/guys mentioned above.

WOW, I am totally thrilled to be listed as one of the Top 10 CD's of the year by Bebop Spoken Here. I am in very good company alongside a rather impressive list of top musicians.
