Carol Kidd is one of my favourite singers. Fond memories of her JNE concerts at The Corner House. Just heard Art Pepper on JRR playing Here's that rainy day. Surely he is one of the most emotional players in all of jazz. Made Stan Getz following on playing Shine seem a bit lightweight by comparison, despite his wonderful fluency. Dare I say that? Oops I just did.
