This is a good opportunity to say thanks to BSH for their support of the jazz scene in the North East (and beyond) - it's no exaggeration to say that if it wasn't for them many, many fine musicians, bands and projects across a huge cross section of jazz wouldn't be getting reviewed at all, because we're in the "desolate"(!) Tonight @ the Black Swan (June 13) - Alice Grace and Pawel Jedrzejewski

(Press release) A vocal and guitar duo who continue to paint musical imagery to the sounds of British jazz greats such as Norma Winstone and Kenny Wheeler. With a new album on the horizon this year, expect to hear them playing a thoughtful mix of tunes from their 2019 album A Timeless Place alongside new original material that showcases both a mellifluous and adventurous style of Jazz.
