Monk in New York to Moran and Yarde in Gateshead - a fond memory.

Trawling through the archives from the earlier days of BSH's 14 years of blogging I came across this photo of (l-r) Jason Yarde and Jason Moran doing their bit for the local economy as well as recreating Thelonious Monk's legendary New York Town Hall Concert at Sage Gateshead back in May 2008. I hope they enjoyed the beer as much as we enjoyed the concert - Lance.
