This is a good opportunity to say thanks to BSH for their support of the jazz scene in the North East (and beyond) - it's no exaggeration to say that if it wasn't for them many, many fine musicians, bands and projects across a huge cross section of jazz wouldn't be getting reviewed at all, because we're in the "desolate"(!) Whilst BSH attempts to cover as many gigs, festivals and albums as possible, to make the site even more comprehensive we need more 'boots on the ground' to cover the albums seeking review - a large percentage of which never get heard - report on gigs or just to air your views on anything jazz related. Edinburgh 2021

On Tuesday 8 June at noon we will announce the programme for the 2021 edition of Edinburgh Jazz & Blues Festival, with tickets going on sale at 10am on Thursday 10 June. 

The festival will run from Friday 16 to Sunday 25 July with over 40 different concerts. The programme boasts performances from established acts from across the spectrum of jazz and blues and brilliant opportunities to explore a range of music from the two scenes. You will have the choice of:

Viewing online
Pre-recorded concerts or live streams from Assembly Roxy. You can purchase a Festival Pass or buy an individual ticket. Concerts will be available for 3 days so you can view at your leisure.

Attending live concerts at Assembly Roxy
We have a small, socially distanced capacity, so please do book early on 10 June when the Box Office opens.

We will also bring you more details about our plans for our three-day digital Edinburgh Festival Carnival celebration.
