This is a good opportunity to say thanks to BSH for their support of the jazz scene in the North East (and beyond) - it's no exaggeration to say that if it wasn't for them many, many fine musicians, bands and projects across a huge cross section of jazz wouldn't be getting reviewed at all, because we're in the "desolate"(!) Johanna Graham Quartet CD Launch @ Pizza Express, Dean St., London Sunday May 25.

Earlier last month I gave a rave review to a début album from Cornwall based singer Johanna Graham -Review here.

Personally I can think of few better experiences than listening to Johanna Graham, enjoying a pizza and accompanying it all with a glass or two of Pinot Grigot .
Unfortunately, I'm nearly 300 miles away at present so I can't enjoy the live experience but, if you're down that way, please make the effort - it will be worth it. And any critics, bloggers etc who do make it, send me a link to your review.
