Darlington New Orleans Jazz Club - Latest.

Saturday 1st September sees the first gig at our new venue in The Dolphin Centre, which is situated centrally in Darlington's Market Square.
The facilities provided in the Dolphin Centre are excellent. Good car parking is available nearby and, being centrally situated, all bus services are within easy walking distance.
A Bistro Bar is available for all your refreshment needs.
Opening the new lunchtime season are The New Century Ragtime Orchestra. Unique in Britain, this 12 piece orchestra will take you on a musical journey from the dawn of ragtime, through the hot jazz and dance music of the 1920s, to the early swing era of the 1930s.
Ticket prices remain unchanged at £8.50, and may be purchased in advance from the Dolphin Centre, Horse Market, Darlington, DL1 5RP, Telephone 01325 388406, or alternatively on the door.
It’s a 12.30p.m start and we finish round about 3.30p.m. How’s that for value for money in these hard times?
We look forward to meeting all our old jazz friends and also welcoming new jazz fans to our audience. (Perhaps you didn’t know we existed hidden away in the Arts Centre for all those years)
Remember we aim to ‘Keep Music Live’, and promote jazz, from ragtime to swing, the first Saturday of the month.
Ray and Graham.
