Bebop Spoken There

Tony Kofi: "I bought myself an alto saxophone and learned from mum's record collection Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Doris Day" - (Jazzwise April, 2020).

The Things They Say!

Hudson Music: Lance's "Bebop Spoken Here" is one of the heaviest and most influential jazz blogs in the UK.

Rupert Burley (Dynamic Agency): "BSH just goes from strength to strength".

In the current climate we are doing our best to keep everyone up to date. All gigs, as we all know, are off.

However, good old YouTube has plenty to offer both old and new to help us survive whilst housebound. Plus now is a good time to stock up on your CDs.

Also, keep an eye out for live streaming sessions.

Alternatively, you could do as they do in Italy and sing from your balcony.

As we all know there are no live gigs taking place in the immediate future. However, any links to jazz streaming that are deemed suitable - i.e. with a professional approach - will be considered for posting.

If so - this must be the place! 23-25 June Birdland Jazz Club 315 W 44th St New York, New York 10036 (212) 581-3080 PIZZArelli Party with the Pizzarellis!: John, Bucky, Martin, Jessica Molaskey, plus honorary Pizzarellis Harry Allen, Aaron Weinstein. and BECKY KILGORE! See you there (in my dreams - I'll probably have to settle for a bag of crisps at The Chilli!). Lance

That would be a treat. Bucky Pizzarelli is one of the greatest swing rhythm players of all time - maybe the best even? His acoustic rhythm on those Kilgore CDS (on an old non elec gtr) is perfect. Bring back the Blackpool Swing Party - that's the best chance - or might The Sage book them? Bucky & Becky as a duo would do.
