Whilst BSH attempts to cover as many gigs, festivals and albums as possible, to make the site even more comprehensive we need more 'boots on the ground' to cover the albums seeking review - a large percentage of which never get heard - report on gigs or just to air your views on anything jazz related. Preview: Indigo Jazz Voices Special Event With Guest Musicians -August 11 @ The Globe

Individual singers: Carrie McCullock; Jenny Lingham; David Edgar; Paul Close; Jen Errington

It's worth a trip to the Globe to hear these singers with their talented accompanist Alan Law, but what you get on this extra special night are extra special horn players in the shape of Messrs Gray, Todd and Dixon. Then add the skills of Messrs Grainger and Walker, and you have an evening not to be missed. And all this for £5 cash on the door, beginning at 7.45pm

Songs will include a fair selection of ballads, blues, bossa and swing.
