I was fortunate to hear this wonderful player (and gentleman) at Darlington Arts Centre and, in a brief conversation, he happily discussed mouthpieces and reeds with myself and my friend and fellow tenor player Charlie Carmichael - its what sax players do when they meet up with other saxophonists - as if the wisdom imparted would turn them into Teddy Edwards overnight!
From the photo I think that's Paul Smith on drums but who are the pianist and bass player? Also can anyone date the gig? I think it was in the 1980s.
Come in Peter Bevan. Lance

Could that be a young Pete Ayton on bass? Don't know the pianist. Could I have heard Teddy Edwards at the Corner House with Billy Harper Trio? Roly.
Teddy Edwards played the Corner House in 1987 with the Billy Harper Trio. A great gig!
Pianist was Paul Flush, Son of Al Flush bandleader.
