There's also a programme at 6:00pm on Talking Pictures about Matt Monro which may appeal to the more conservative viewers. That guy could sing!
This was a bit of an anti climax! The Velvet Fog only got one number - a completely forgettable Paul Williams song. The show was all about Shirley really, allowing her time for several dress changes - oh, those 1970's fashions. Anyway, the previous week's show apparently featured the Stan Getz Quartet - wonder how much time they were allocated?
