As a kid, I loved listening to my parents two Andrews Sisters LPs. One had their 'greatest hits' - Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Rum and Coca Cola, Beat Me Daddy Eight to the Bar, By Mir Bist Du Schoen; and the other was full of tracks with Bing - Don't Fence Me In, Accentuate the Positive. Pop music from a different era, but I'm sure it instilled a love of swing and good harmony in me. I'll be digging som Andrew Sisters records out tonight.
