Whilst BSH attempts to cover as many gigs, festivals and albums as possible, to make the site even more comprehensive we need more 'boots on the ground' to cover the albums seeking review - a large percentage of which never get heard - report on gigs or just to air your views on anything jazz related. Newly Discovered Works of Gil Evans released on CD

Just to let site visitors know that the long awaited CD Centennial - Newly discovered works of Gil Evans has emerged on the ArtistShare label.(AS 0114).
ie 10 never - before - heard works of the great composer/arranger from different periods of his career.
In my opinion, essential listening for anyone interested in jazz orchestration...
