Maine Street Jazzmen @ Rosie Malone's

Herbie Hudson (tmb), Jim McBriarty (clt), Malcolm Armstrong (pno), Alan Rudd (bs), Tommy Graham (dms) Olive Rudd (vcl).
No Mick Hill this week nervetheless, some spirited blowing by the frontliners and with Malcolm Armstrong's beefy backing coupled with Alan and Tommy's pulsation it was still a good sound. Olive was in great voice - "Just Friends' stood out as did "Deed I Do", "Doctor Jazz" and other old faves.
To make the afternoon complete, I won a bottle of wine in the raffle and a second cousin of mine also won a CD of the band so it was a good 'family' day out!
