We'd remained cautiously optimistic until fairly recently - so, due to print deadlines you may well see advertisements for the event in current and forthcoming issues of jazz magazines. This has been a decision that we've taken jointly, just in the last few days. Our musicians have now been informed - so they can plan their diaries.
We're in the process of contacting all the fans who've already booked for this year. Refunds will, of course, be offered - or there will be the option to hold the booking for next year. Talking of next year ........ we must surely keep our hopes up that things will start to return to normal. I'll be talking to the Village Hotel in the next couple of weeks to discuss dates. We shouldn't use the term 'cancelled' - rather 'postponed' - until the better times return. Patti Durham
