Whilst BSH attempts to cover as many gigs, festivals and albums as possible, to make the site even more comprehensive we need more 'boots on the ground' to cover the albums seeking review - a large percentage of which never get heard - report on gigs or just to air your views on anything jazz related. Paul Edis to Take Five

Northeast resident Paul Edis has been selected to participate in the 2017 Take Five development programme. Music promoter Serious has announced its new cohort of musicians for the twelfth edition of the scheme. Pianist Edis, currently spinning any number of musical plates (composing, performing, teaching), is one of eight names destined for the Serious hothouse. *
Paul Edis maintains the region’s strong representation on the Take Five scheme over recent years: Zoë Gilby (2016) and Andy Champion and Chris Montague (2013). An impressive roll call over the last decade or so includes
