Here Come The Scots!

(Preview by Lance)
This Saturday and next Friday, at the Globe and the Jazz Café respectfully, sees gigs by two superb Scottish based bands. On Saturday (July 13), The Brian Molley Quartet come down from Glasgow to play The Globe and on Friday (June 19) JazzMain travel from Edinburgh to "The Caff".
Molley's CD - The Clock was one of my top albums of 2013 and JazzMain's album - A Sound For Sore Ears was April's CD of the Month.
Now, in the course of a week, you can hear these two top bands at two venues not two million miles apart!
Don't miss either.
Saturday June 13: Brian Molley Quartet - the Globe, 11 Railway St., Newcastle NE4 7AD. 7.30pm (for 7.45pm). £10.
-----
Friday June 19: JazzMain - the Jazz Café, 25 Pink Lane, Newcastle NE1 5DW. 9pm. £5 (£3 before 8.30.) 0191 2229882.
