And if you want a more international spectrum then check out Radio Jazz in the left hand column. In particular, the hour long Late Night Chicago Radio it is essential listening for those of us who like modern jazz as it once was along with classy vocals by Frank, Ella, Tony etc.
Programme updates every Thursday.
Thanks to Lance and Russell and even to myself as I seem to have caused the production of a comprehensive list of radio jazz programmes. There's no excuse for BSH readers to miss any radio jazz!
BBC Radio Scotland
Sunday's 9-11pm
Jazz Nights
Presented by Seonaid Aitken who often performs accompanied by pianist Richard Micheal whose Songbook section analyses a jazz tune.
Educational and essential listening.
