Why I'll miss these weekend gigs in 'The Toon' - Hate that word!


I 'tried' - pun intentional - but the crowds at Hebburn station and on the sardine packed Metro trains made my proposed trip to the Jazz Café a bit of a 'scrum'.  Suddenly, all the Mackems and Maggies are fans of the funny shaped ball! So, rather than risk life and limb, I went instead, to a local pub where they also smash peoples faces in. However, unlike St. James'
Park, Twickenham etc where that is part and parcel of the sport. they get arrested for doing it!
And this was but the eve of the game twixt Scotland (SNP) and South Africa - may whoever scores the most of them things win.
I think the only true sport is boxing!

Well.... braved the crowds and indeed the Toon twas a bit packed out for sure .... in great contrast to the chilled atmos at the Jazz Cafe :-) All good stuff.
