Bebop Spoken There

Randy Brecker: "It's still a thrill for me today to stand out front of a big band as the soloist and hear all that sound going on behind you. It brings the best out of me" - (DownBeat June 2019).

Caro Emerald - Dutch Diva

I woke up early (4.30am) Tuesday. Unable to get back to dreamland, I switched on my trusty mp4 player to BBC2 and heard this great female voice - Caro Emerald - has anyone heard of her on their Jazz travels? The track was Stuck With You from her album Deleted Scenes From The Cutting Room Floor.
Apparently she's big in Holland.
Sounded great to me, or was it the lack of sleep?

She has a great voice - and she is top of her game in Holland right now.
She will be releasing a new single in October (18th I think) from the much acclaimed "Deleted Scenes from the Cutting Room Floor" cd. The single is "That Man" and you can see a great video of this on You Tube.
Definitley a name to watch.
