Rosie's

Olive Rudd (vcl), Herbie Hudson (tmb/hca/vcl), Jim McBriarty (clt/vcl), Malcolm Armstrong (pno), Alan Rudd (bs), Mike Humble (dms).
Ray Harley missed this afternoon's session for a dental appointment - the brass player's nightmare - losing a tooth. I remember well the trauma that Ronnie McLean went through back in the 80's. Let's hope that Ray gets it sorted soon.
Herbie kept things going in the frontline with Jim McBriarty doing his share of the work. Both guys threw in a few vocals with Jimmy Mack's If I Could Be With You One Hour Tonight quite tasty.
However, the vocal kudos, as always went to Olive for her Hard Hearted Hannah and Don't Blame Me.
Another good set - love the Sunday Lunch notice in the photo.
Lance.
NEWS FLASH! - The Maine Street Jazzmen terminate their Porthole residency next Tuesday.
