CD Review: Mike Bogle Trio - Dr. B!

Super album, great B3 sounds from Bogle; McLure perfect in this setting and Torres drives it along swingingly and yet, I'll probably never play it again even though it could be high up on the list.
Why?
I've got organ trios by Jimmy Smith, McDuff, McGriff, Preston, Shirley Scott, Mike Carr and, local boy, Gerry Richardson. Bogle is in that league but, unfortunately, the others got to my turntable first and I don't think I hear anything here that improves upon, say, Jimmy Smith's The Cat although the blast on Splanky/Route 66 runs them all close and. having said that, Bogle's vocal on 66 doesn't do him any harm either.
Walkin' has a Lou Reed kind of narrative over the tune which isn't the Walkin' we all know - it's compelling.
So, this is really one for those who've arrived late on the organ scene or, maybe, have been too long on the organ scene and want something new.
I'm not sure if this is it but organ buffs will probably want to find out.
