New Jam in Billingham

This is a new jam nite, held every Wednesday at the pub, all music genres are welcome. PA provided, along with drums, bass amp, guitar amps and even bass, electric and electro-acoustic guitars are available.
I hope that I might be able to do a jazz specific night once a month, but any musician is welcome to any of the weekly events.  The landlord, Alan Bridges and his wife Janet are amicable hosts and whilst there is no money for performers, refreshments are on the cards!

Great news for musicians. Go to Billingham and play for peanuts - literally!

Always a contentious issue re jam sessions - thoughts please.

A paid 'house' duo/trio to help student or inexperienced musicians hone their skills wouldn't cost a fortune, playing for nowt sets a bad precedent.
