Hard to imagine Copenhagen without the Montmartre . I still remember a fantastic nightistening to Dexter Gordon there backed by Kenny Drew,NHOP on bass and Alex Riel on drums.The interval band was led by another great tenorman-Brew Moore.
Sad indeed. Pleased that you mentioned Brew Moore. He's all but forgotten now but he was one of the best of the "Lestorians". I've got several of his albums and they're all great.
