Jazz guitarist Frances Tulip is making a major impression amongst those in the
know for his technical prowess as well as his creative spark.
A graduate of the Royal
Birmingham Conservatoire – where he won their Jazz Performance Prize – he is
now studying at Trinity Laban in London, and has already worked with a number
of renowned jazz musicians, such as Paul Booth, Xhosa Cole, Phil Meadows and
Byron Wallen. In addition, he’s received further recognition from the
musician’s charity Help Musicians and the Countess of Munster Musical Trust.
The Club believes strongly in the importance of championing up-and-coming
musicians and we’re delighted to welcome Francis and his Trio, Asaph Tal-bass and Noah Stone-drums.
