JOE ALBANY... A JAZZ LIFE 1980 Complete 60 min. Feature Documentary Film

Fascinating documentary of a sadly now almost forgotten jazz legend,

Hello Lance
I saw this documentary quite a few years back and really liked Joe's classic bebop piano playing and found his life story quite moving too. So I went out and bought a vinyl album of his trio/quartet. Some tracks featured a great jazz guitarist I'd not heard before - Al Gafa. Lovely playing from him too. It makes you wonder how many fantastic players were mostly under the radar from that era, who never got the wider recognition they deserved.
