That wonderful vocalist Becky Kilgore is appearing at the Norwich Jazz Party next May. This strikes me as an opportunity for promoters to grab her whilst she's over here. I'd love to hear Becky live and, as Norwich is a bit far for me, perhaps some of our Northern jazz organisations could come up with some ideas?

Hmmm. Nice thought Lance.
She's great.

Two of my all time favourite CDs feature Becky. 'Remembering Maxine' with the Bobby Gordon Trio (Bobby a unique, impish clarinetist who doesn't play a lot of notes because he doesn't need to) and 'I saw Stars' featuring, among some great players, the best pure acoustic guitar rhythm playing I've ever heard - by Bucky Pizzarelli. And for delightful, warm, sincere singing well, what more can you say.

I too have those albums as well as a duo set with Dave Frishberg all fabulous.
Yes she is so engaging, her voice is clear as a bell too! That next band number at the fade out "I'll know" is a winner too

PS: From Guys and Dolls of course.
