Whilst BSH attempts to cover as many gigs, festivals and albums as possible, to make the site even more comprehensive we need more 'boots on the ground' to cover the albums seeking review - a large percentage of which never get heard - report on gigs or just to air your views on anything jazz related. John Etheridge Gig Cancelled - update re refunds.

Bad news for fans of guitarist John Etheridge. John has undergone very recent major surgery to a lung and has had to withdraw from all his touring commitments. Which means cancellation of his scheduled appearance with Trio North at Newcastle Arts Centre on 1.12.11. Nor does it seem likely that a suitable replacement band can be found at short notice. Anyone who has bought tickets for his Trio North gig at Newcastle Arts Centre from the Centre's Crafts Shop can obtain a full refund from the same location. If on the other hand you bought tickets from J.G.Windows you should contact Dave Clarke of Jazz North East on 0191 265 5699 or by email at dave@jazznortheast.com.
