Bebop Spoken There

Gil Goldstein: "The first three days I was in Florida, I heard Jaco Pastorius play at a club in Fort Lauderdale, and then I heard Pat [Metheny] play in a class on jazz composition. My whole experience of the world changed in those three days." - (DownBeat, March 2020).

Just a heads up to let you know that the VCT's show about the local Tyneside dance and jazz scene is on this Sunday at 8-30am (HK time) it is from a good few shows back but they felt it was worth putting it on air again. Here is the write up by the producer and poster by him.

The Tyneside Special
That's right, once again we're jumping on the Tyne-Machine!! Colin Aitchison opens the doors to the Oxford Galleries for a quick-step tramp and Cox's Pippin'. I know...it's a different language. We hear from Stan Wilde, Peter Deuchar and Mr Aitchison senior.
Plus, some Sunday morning Be-Bop speak with Lance Liddle. A Sunday morning special.
