This is a good opportunity to say thanks to BSH for their support of the jazz scene in the North East (and beyond) - it's no exaggeration to say that if it wasn't for them many, many fine musicians, bands and projects across a huge cross section of jazz wouldn't be getting reviewed at all, because we're in the "desolate"(!) Whilst BSH attempts to cover as many gigs, festivals and albums as possible, to make the site even more comprehensive we need more 'boots on the ground' to cover the albums seeking review - a large percentage of which never get heard - report on gigs or just to air your views on anything jazz related. If You Can't Use It - Don't Waste It!

Just a short reminder of this Friday's Lunchtime Jazz concert by Emma Fisk's Hot Club Du Nord at the Gala Theatre in Durham - if you have tickets.

The concert sold out two months ago so you will need to contact the box office about any returns. If you do have tickets which you are unable to use, please inform the box office or bring/send someone with the tickets on the day. 

All concerts this year have sold out at the box office, but there are always seats untaken, which is frustrating for Gala staff (who can't admit people without tickets) and for those of us running the concerts, as well as to those people who arrive on the off-chance that there may be returns and then see empty seats.
